I was checking the blogroll on Willa-Ford.org (not to be confused with the deleted WillaFord.org) and came across 3 mentions of Willa from DallasNews.com. The first is unfortunately subscriber only, so I could not view the lengthy article (but if you do have subscriber access, you can check it out at this link). The other two mentions are two small paragraphs talking about how her role was memorable on the first episode of Magic City, links to both are here and here.
Basically, all three are saying Willa's role as Janice is memorable due to the racy content. Pretty good considering she has about a minute or two of screen time in the first episode. Considering the amount of press she's been receiving along with the standard promotion of the show, it's probably safe to say that her part will wind up being pretty interesting (and she will be getting substantially more screen time). Hopefully it will lead to a more permanent part.
yes it was very memorable lol! but I am glad to see her getting recognition again.and magic city was renewed for a second season hope to see her back!, but not to jump to far ahead,I cant wait to see her role in episodes 5 6 and 8!
ReplyDeleteAll the press she's been getting prior to these articles made me think she had a really decent role. So I was very confused with her barely being in the first episode. But with her being in three more episodes gives me hope that she becomes more important later. But yeah, totally stoked she is getting recognition.
